Jeffrey has experienced many of the same struggles that his clients are currently experiencing, which gives him a unique perspective and allows him to truly empathize with where they are in their life journey. He feels that he has been called to meet his clients where they are in their process and to walk with them through the pain of trauma, addiction or other mental/behavioral health struggles to a life of recovery; whatever that might look like for each individual person. Jeffrey was born and raised in Jackson, MS to a loving and supportive family and is currently raising his own family in the Jackson area.
Jeffrey specializes in substance use disorders and process addictions (sex and gambling), with an emphasis on co-occurring trauma and/or mental health disorders. He also has experience in working with adolescents and the unique challenges that they face in today’s world. Not only does he strive to assist the individuals that are struggling with the negative impacts of these disorders, but he finds great fulfillment in working with the families that are affected by the addiction of their loved ones.
Jeffrey has experience working in the judicial system as a court counselor in and around the Jackson area and can provide alcohol and drug assessments that include a written treatment recommendation for attorneys or judges.
